Unfortunately, Etsy isn\u2019t one of them. Sales in June fell by 6.8% compared to May, marking not only a noticeable drop but also the largest monthly decline so far this year. But before hitting the panic button, it\u2019s worth putting things into perspective. While the numbers aren\u2019t ideal, they\u2019re not unprecedented\u2014in fact, we saw a similar dip in June 2024, with sales dropping just over 5%. The months ahead could bring more stability\u2014or even a slight rebound in sales. Still, we&#8217;re also watching with some concern the ongoing developments around U.S. tariff policy, which could have a serious impact on many sellers if changes take effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sales_on_Etsy_by_category_in_June\"><\/span>Sales on Etsy by category in June<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike last month, this time the negative trend is reflected across all categories. Other categories with declines below the platform average include <strong>Electronics &amp; Accessories<\/strong> (down 2.7%), <strong>Accessories <\/strong>(3.5%), <strong>Pet Supplies<\/strong> (3.6%), <strong>Craft Supplies &amp; Tools<\/strong> (4.4%), and <strong>Art &amp; Collectibles <\/strong>(4.7%). In June, that upward trend came to a halt, with sales dropping by approximately 7.5%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background\" style=\"background-color:#edf5f4;font-size:14px\">It is very useful to compare your results to your competitor shops. differences\u2014and this month is no exception. At this pace, Canadian shops may soon surpass German ones in monthly sales.
