Although there is a slightly stronger first half of the month, there isn&#8217;t a significant increase in sales for the platform as a whole before International Women&#8217;s Day (March 8) or St. Patrick&#8217;s Day (March 17). However, there has certainly been an increase in sales for specific products related to these holidays. After a slight dip of less than 1% last month, we&#8217;ve observed a roughly 2% increase in total sales compared to February. While the average number of sales per day in March is still lower than that in October, we&#8217;re seeing a trend towards increasing sales. Only time will tell if this trend will continue in the coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sales_on_Etsy_by_category_in_March\"><\/span>Sales on Etsy by category in March<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In March, we observed a positive trend in almost all categories, with some showing double-digit growth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"614\" src=\"https:\/\/koalanda.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Growth-Mar-1024x614.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-839\" srcset=\"https:\/\/koalanda.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Growth-Mar-1024x614.png 1024w, https:\/\/koalanda.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Growth-Mar-300x180.png 300w, https:\/\/koalanda.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Growth-Mar-768x461.png 768w, https:\/\/koalanda.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Growth-Mar-1536x922.png 1536w, https:\/\/koalanda.pro\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Growth-Mar.png 1875w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Shoes and Weddings categories, in particular, grew by 11% and 10%, respectively. We&#8217;ve been seeing growth in Weddings since January, and we expect it to continue as the weather warms up and more people start tying the knot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bags &amp; Purses, Clothing, and Home &amp; Living categories also performed significantly above average for the platform, with sales increasing by 7%, 7%, and 5%, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only notable decline compared to February was in the Paper &amp; Party Supplies category, which saw a 4% decrease in sales. It remains to be seen whether a similar trend will emerge in the USA, where Mother&#8217;s Day is celebrated in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sellers from Germany and Australia saw even greater sales growth, at over 9%.
