The Koalanda Category Inspector<\/strong> displays details and statistics about the shops, listings, and sales within a specific Etsy category. Its purpose is to provide a quick overview of the position of sellers from that category in the Etsy marketplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can find the tool by going to Marketplace \/ Category Inspector<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using the Category Inspector<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To use the Category Inspector, simply choose the category you are interested in from the dropdown list and click ‘Inspect’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tool will present various sections detailing statistics and information about the selected category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Category overview<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The category overview<\/strong> section displays several key metrics for the selected category:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Shops: The total number of currently active shops in the category.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Listings: The total number of currently active listings in the category.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Sales: The total sales made by all currently active shops in the category.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Sales per shop: The average total sales per shop, calculated across all currently active shops in the category.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    For each metric, you can also see the category’s ranking in comparison to all other categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The top shops<\/strong> section displays a list of the leading shops in the category, ranked by their total sales numbers. You can access a comprehensive list of all the category’s shops by clicking the ‘View all shops’ button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
