Why do you need to connect your shop?
The simple answers is that Etsy requires it.
Most of Koalanda’s tools use the Etsy API. This is the official technical interface that Etsy provides to apps like Koalanda to let them access information about Etsy shops and listings. In order to use this API for a particular shop, the owner of this shop should instruct Etsy that it allows Koalanda to access its data. This is achieved by connecting the shop to Koalanda.
Connecting your shop
Connecting your Etsy shop to Koalanda takes only a minute.
- Log in Koalanda by going to the Koalanda log in page.
- Go to the user icon in the top right corner of the screen, click on it and select “My Shops” from the dropdown menu.
- Click the “Connect shop” button. You will get redirected to Etsy.
- Click the Grant Access button in Etsy. You will get redirected back to Koalanda.
- You should see a green success message. Refresh your page.
Connecting multiple shops
In Koalanda, you can connect up to 5 different Etsy shops without any additional charges. To connect an additional shop to your account the steps are almost the same.
- Go to “My Shops”, as in the previous section.
- Click the “Connect another shop” button. You will get redirected to Etsy.
- Click the Grant Access button in Etsy. You will get redirected back to Koalanda.
- You should see a green success message. Refresh your page.
