Managing failed payments

Charging your card in order to renew your subscription can fail for several reasons. The most common ones are:

  1. Your card does not have sufficient funds to pay for the subscription.
  2. Your card has expired.
  3. Your card or bank has too strict 3D Secure rules which prevents it from being used for recurring payments.

If a payment fails for any reason, Koalanda will retry it several more times in the next several days. During these retries, your subscription will remain active and you will be able to continue using all of Koalanda’s features. Additionally, you will receive an email notification for the payment failure which will allow you to resolve the problem with the card. If the payment continues to fail for several days we will automatically cancel your subscription.
